Every Monday and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m., our volunteer workers gather to perform maintenance on the Fabing-McKay-Spanne House, do housecleaning, change displays, trim roses, do miscellaneous yard work, assist with special tours and work in the Reference Library.  Volunteer docents also serve as guides in the house on the fourth Saturday of each month from

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Our docents greet visitors and interpret the history of the house and its furnishings and artifacts.  Docents are provided with initial training to familiarize them with the Historical Society, the Fabing-McKay-Spanne House and outbuildings.

Additional volunteers are always needed.  If you have time and talent to share, please contact us.
