The Lodge Coffee Shop and adjacent Vandenberg Motel in the 1960s.  The A-frame restaurant still survives.  The motel is long gone and replaced by a Walgreens Pharmacy

The Colonial Inn on South I Street was constructed in 1875. 
The original 1875 building, which occupied the right side of the pictured building, was the home of B.F. Tucker, Lompoc's first postmaster 
and was added onto throughout the years until it finally took on its final appearance as shown in the photo.
